City council considering tax increase
A majority of members of the city council said they would consider raising the city property tax rate by one-and-a-half cents. Del Rio Mayor Roberto “Bobby” Fernandez discussed his reasons for asking the council to consider the increase during the council’s Aug. 10 meeting.
